COURSE (2-hours):
$130 for 1-person or $100 each for 2 or more persons
Our Intro to Handgun course is designed for beginners with little or no experience with firearms. It will provide you with a solid foundation in the basic skills and fundamentals of operating a handgun.
At the culmination of this class, our instructor will give you an assessment of your shooting skills and provide guidance towards obtaining your License-to-Carry.
Topics covered will include:
- Firearms Safety
- Parts, Nomenclature and Function of Semi-automatics and Revolvers
- Loading, Unloading, and Clearing
- Fundamentals of Handgun Marksmanship
Students attending this class will need to bring:
- Eye and Ear protection
- A Handgun
- 50 rounds of Ammunition
- Appropriate Range Attire (no open-toe shoes or sandals)
- Valid Photo ID
*NOTE – Lessons are conducted at Red’s Indoor Range, located at 1908 W. Pecan St, Pflugerville, TX 78660. You are responsible for the $20 / person range fee paid to Red’s and the cost of your ammunition.
